weekend happenings

So how many people does it take to knock down a fence?  A man with a hammer and a woman on a rampage wielding a maul.

We spent a majority of our weekend knocking down most of our old fence and clearing up the front yard.  You can see the short part is still standing, it was much sturdier and a lot harder to get down.   We had great neighbors who helped clean the front yard for us, trust me it looked bad.  And we knocked down the fence ourselves.  Talk about exhausting. P robably the only picture I will ever upload of our house.  And yes we are shamelessly promoting pringles and the fact that our daughter is eating them in this picture.  And no, we do not look that pretty after tearing down a fence, I refused to look like puke and post it online.  So we cleaned up and walked back out to show that most of our fence is down.  Maybe one day I'll post more pictures of how awesome our backyard will look.

Hope you had just as fun and productive of a weekend :)

    1. I love looking at house updates on others and yes looking at other's progress is far more fun than your own. I wish someone would come over and do my updates! Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

    1. You know what Ali, I'm not entirely sure. I didn't take a before picture (completely forgot about it) and since we're not rebuilding the fence, I may not make a post, but I will definitely at least post the finished yard when we're done with it. We still have a lot of things to clear out back there. Our door is actually purple :) it was one of the first major changes I made back when the house was bought.

    1. Sometimes I prefer having more unproductive weekends, they feel like they last longer, hah, as opposed to the ones where we never sit down. I love being able to soak up as much time with Sophie as i can.
