While I've talked about a few DIY projects in the past, one thing that I'd really like to be able to do is re-model the kitchen, whether it's actually done or not, we'll see. We have a tiny, tiny kitchen, so I'm not sure how much we could actually do, but here's to wishing.

It's Memorial Day weekend, and while it will be nice to enjoy the three day weekend, I hope y'all do take a moment and thank the wonderful people who served. Of course it reminds me of my grandpa who served for several years (although we never talked about it in our house...)
