Anyway, the last weekend in August went out with such a bang, and is easily the funnest weekend I've had in months! I feel like usually my weekend recounts are boring; the basic, I cleaned...
However this weekend, I went out. That's right went out, had drinks and basically laughed until I lost my voice (still looking for it today, if you find it please let me know).
You may notice Kyle's not in the photographs, well he was at home with Sophie, (someone has to take care of her) and he didn't really feel like going out after working all day. On Saturday, the group of us went to an annual event native to my state. All of us are pictured in the bottom right picture, except that dude on the left, don't even know him. But we made lots of new friends while at the event. We actually missed it, we had too much fun pre-gaming (the other three) and taking pictures for memories sake (on my behalf and so it would be possible to be put on this blog).
And on Sunday, that wonderful husband of mine surprised me with dinner date :) Another thing we rarely get to do. He had been saving up his tip money from his job so that we wouldn't have to actually use any of our money, and that's how we spent the last weekend in August, here's to September!

DeleteFUN! Yes, sometimes us parents have to go out separately, which is a bummer but better than nothing, but how sweet you then got a little date in the next day!! Sounds like you had a GREAT weekend!

DeleteSounds like a great weekend. We were able to get together with some friends we hadn't seen in awhile to celebrate a birthday. We hadn't been out that late in awhile since becoming parents. LOL That was sweet of Kyle to watch Sophie and then take you out as well!
