Instead of a weekend recap this time around, instead I'm sharing this wonderful interview I did with Kyle this past weekend, such a great man. After reading Katie's hilarious interview with her husband (inspired by Jessica at The Newly ), I knew I had to do one of my own.  Of course I changed out some questions, and added my own.

While Kyle is aware of my blog, I don't think he reads it as he sees it as my personal outlet and doesn't want me to feel like I can't fully express myself.  The Q stands for questions, and the A stands for answer.  Any other responses are labelled L for Liz and K for Kyle.

This is what married people do at the end of their date night...

Q: What is the name of my blog?
A: Sundays with Sophie

Q: Why did I pick that name for my blog?
A: It's the day that you, me and Sophie get to spend together as a family

Q: What do I typically write about?
A: Being a mother?  That's right, right?

Q: Why is blogging so important to me?
A: Because you like to express your ideas to others and let your voice be heard.

L: Okay we're switching up the questions.
K: Fine then be that way.  Wait switching the order of them?  Or outright changing them, if you're outright changing them I'm calling shenanigans and not answering anymore.

Q: What do I do when I'm home alone and Sophie's asleep?
A: Uh, blog, watch netflix, and play candy crush

Q: And what do you do when you're home alone and Sophie's asleep?
A: I sleep or I play my game or I watch netflix and play candy crush

Q: What do we like to do together?
A: Uh, well there's the really obvious one, watch shows on netflix and hulu, help each other out in candy crush, go for walk with Sophie, and talk about how nice it is that our child is asleep, cook together, you know the usual.

Q: Am I on instagram?
A: I believe you are, yes?  The key to that question is, am I on instagram?
L: yes you are.
K: That's right!  I can't remember my password though.

Q: What do you know about pinterest?
A: Uh, that it is similar to facebook/instagram other than that, not much
L:  You pin images and things you like to different boards, get it?  Pin, interest put together.
K : Right, right, not my thing.

Q: What does YOLO stand for?
A: You only live once, I know what that means, not that old yet.  What it should be is, you only die once.  YODO

Q: What do I like to shop for?
A: What do you like to shop for?  anything and everything, mostly clothes, jewelry and stuff for the house, and by stuff for the house I mean dish racks and toilet paper and paper towels, which you seem to an obsessions with, like we're gonna run out or something

Q: What's a hunter wellie?
A: What?
L:What is a hunter wellie?
K what?  I have no idea.  Is that some weird English name for a dog?
L: it's a rain boot
K: it's a rain boot? Really?  They couldn't have called it rain boot?
L: Hunter is the brand of boot
K: Well then.

Q:What is the pantone color of the year?
A:What?
L: What is the pantone color of the year?
K: What the heck is that
L: It's Marsala
K: Oh yeah, I woke up today feeling like  I wanted to wear Marsala, what kind of question is that?  Wait, isn't that the same word for chicken marsala?  How can it be a color too?

Q: What type of bag do I carry?
A: A purple one. No, wait,  an expensive one that I'm not allowed to put on the floor and has its own place on the bed.
L: It doesn't sit on the bed, it goes on the dresser.
K: still not on the floor.

Q: What do women keep in their purse?
A: Uh, anything and everything that you could ever need when you don't need it, and nothing when you do need it

Q: What's usually in my purse?

A: your wallet, uh deodorant, assorted medications (like advil, tylenol), q-tips, keys, band aids
L: I don't have any medication or q-tips in there, where did you get that from?
K: Uh, isn't that what every woman carries?

Q: What jewelry do I wear everyday? (without looking!)
A: A silver bracelet that says love, rose gold bracelet that says mom, wedding ring, watch, and your charm bracelet and your necklace.  the necklace I got you, with the heart and the key and Sophie's name.
L: Wow that's really good, but you forgot I wear earrings,
K: Oh yeah you wear the love knot earrings I got you, and some other pair.

Q: Am I good at staying on a budget?
A : Yes, for the most part
L: For the most part, what does that mean?
K : Sometimes you like to buy stuff that we don't need
L: Like?
K: extra food when we have food, or garbage bags when we have 300 of them already or toilet paper, you have like a toilet paper obsession
L: Do not
K : says the woman with 100 rolls in the closet*

Q:What's an acceptable amount to pay for a dress?
A: $50-$100, although for you, probably no more than $25, you hate paying more than that for a dress

Q: What's my favorite accessory?
A: your daughter, she's the one you dress up the most
L: Haha, no like an actual accessory
K: oh, and actual accessory, oh your fitbit
L: actual accessory.
K : well then, probably your watch?

Q: What's my favorite food?
A:  like food group or actual food?
L:  no like an actual food
K : that;s tough to say, you love that noodle salad they serve at the japanese, but then you also like spring rolls at the thai restaurant.

Q: What's my favorite TV show?
A: I don't know bones?
L: I don't really have one
K : so that was a trick question?
L: no more just to see what you would answer with

Q: What are some of my favorite activities?
A: running, playing candy crush, taking photos of Sophie, blogging, reading blogs

Q: Is there anything you'd like to share?
A: I love my wife
L: really?
K: yes even if she has me answer these questions and make me look like a fool

I have to say I was dying at some of the answers he came up with,  but others were spot on.  Hope y'all enjoyed reading this as much as I had asking the questions.

*I'd like to add that it's not true we use amazon subscribe and save meaning we get toilet paper through them and they only come as bulk
