can't live without: happy anniversary

Boy, oh boy, how excited am I to talk about what who I can't live without this week: my husband .  I truly can't y'all.  Of course, Sophie is my heart and my soul, but Kyle is my everything.  My other half, the one has been there for everything, he's the father of my child, and my best friend.  He's the one I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with, even when we're old and senile and we forget who we are.

We celebrated our anniversary yesterday, and we chose to spend yesterday together celebrating our life together and the future years we will have together. So how do two people with a child celebrate their anniversary?  Easy, we go to the Children's Museum.

Sophie had a ball at the children's museum.  It was the first time she'd ever been.  She had more fun chewing on things though.  Her favorite room was the toddlers room, of course, and she got to play with some other toddlers as well.  Despite being the youngest, she was easily the tallest, which meant other parents were confused when Sophie could barely talk.

We ended our day with a nice dinner and some dress up with Sophie.  She had more fun wearing my clothes than helping us put away with our clothes.  All in all, our anniversary day was one of the best I've had in a while, and it served to remind me just how lucky I am to have these two in my life.

And to end the post, let's have a blast from the past.  One year ago, my husband and I took a photo with Sophie and this year, we took the same photo again, of course there are differences, we have a few more gray hairs, a few extra lbs, and Sophie's doubled her weight and then some and gained nearly a foot in a year.  What a difference a year makes.
