- exhaustion has reached a new level
- a mostly clean house is good enough
- looking like a hot mess is completely acceptable, even in public, but only to a degree
- that my purse has become my diaper bag
- that any accomplishment no matter how big or small is still an accomplishment
-
that I have a new helper all of the time, for laundry, dishes,
picking upthrowing toys - that I have a mini me (well at least until she outgrows me)
-
it's okay to not know what you're doing
mostsome of the time - it's totally fine to end a meal with her having most of her meal on the floor
- my toys (laptop, cellphone, etc) are her toys
- any of my stuff is her stuff
- She'll always be my little baby, even if she ends up being 6 feet tall.
Kyle and I are on the market for a new video monitor.
We currently have Summer Infant (this is the closest one, they no longer make the one we have), but it's no longer charging as well anymore, too many times that I've fallen asleep with it and tangled the cord. or Kyle's forgotten it in his pocket with it still plugged in. Sophie chewing on it, you know?
We're thinking of moving to this one , but before we drop that much money on it, does anyone else have it? Anyone like it?
Purse as a diaper bag...couldn't agree more! On any given day, I find toys, snacks, diapers (clean!), or pacifiers in my bag :) Found your blog through the Weekending link-up!
Reply DeleteI always find diapers in my purse, and sometimes I'll even find open food, from when Sophie dumps her food into my purse while driving around, oh the joys of having a toddler. Hope you had a great weekend!
DeleteYes to all of this! But I wouldn't have it any other way :)
